Dustin Sorensen races into Gator Nationals during Modified DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia

Dustin Sorensen continued his time at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Monday afternoon ahead of a full-week of DIRTcar UMP Modified competition in the DIRTcar Nationals.

Sorensen scored a podium finish on opening night before finishing sixth, ninth, and fifth in evening features during the week. Heading into the weekend, Dustin scored one more Top-5 finish in fourth which put him starting on the pole of a last chance showdown on Saturday. Sorensen captured the checkered flag which put him in the 30-lap main event where he would record a 12th-place outing.
