Sorensen opens up 2026 Outlaw season with sixth-place finish at Volusia Speedway Park
Trucking from Arizona to Florida over the week, Dustin Sorensen kicked off another season with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series on Thursday afternoon for opening night of the Sunshine Nationals.
With 44 Late Models signed in, Sorensen opened up night one with the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group and a heat race win. Redrawing the fourth-starting position, Dustin raced inside the Top-10 and placed sixth in the $10,000 feature.
Sorensen then finished 25th in Friday's feature before landing an 18th-place run on Saturday.
