Dustin Sorensen starts 2026 season out West at Central Arizona Raceway
Kicking off the brand new season out in the desert, Dustin Sorensen pulled his No. 19 Super Late Model and Modified to Central Arizona Raceway (Case Grande, Ariz.) for the first weekend of the 20th-annual Wild West Shootout.
Finishing 24th in the $25,000-to-win Late Model opener, Sorensen found better luck on Sunday evening and raced just outside the Top-10 to finish 12th.
In the Modifieds, Sorensen recorded a Top-5 in Saturday's $2,000-to-win show as he trailed Cade Dillard, Reece Solander, and Tanner Mullens. On Sunday, Dustin crossed the line in third, but was disqualified during technical inspection.
