Sorensen 10th and 11th in Battle at the Border with World of Outlaws

Dustin Sorensen was one of 38 Super Late Model entries at Sharon Speedway (Hartford, Ohio) on Friday afternoon for the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series-sanctioned Battle at the Border.

Missing the mark early in the night, Sorensen clawed his way into the $12,000-to-win main event and charged forward from 23th-to-10th in the 40-lapper.

Dustin started much better on Saturday evening as he qualified second-fastest in his group and picked up a heat race win. Sorensen started fourth in the 50-lap, $15,000-to-win finale and faded to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.

Sorensen is 11th in the series point standings.
