Dustin Sorensen races into Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway
Dustin Sorensen unloaded his J&S Repair No. 19 Longhorn at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon as over 80 Super Late Model drivers kicked off the 31st-annual Dream weekend at The Big E.
Missing out on the FloRacing Night in America show, Sorensen focused on his preliminary night on Friday where he qualified second-fastest in his group. Dustin finished third in his heat race which put him on the third-row for the $30,000-to-win prelim. He wound up with a 16th-place outing.
Dustin had a pole position in a heat race on Saturday after hitting the invert just right but fell out of a transfer spot. Sorensen earned a spot in the $100,000-to-win finale through a B-Main and recorded a 19th-place outing.
