Sorensen podiums with USMTS at Deer Creek Raceway

Taking advantage of the holiday weekend, Dustin Sorensen was back behind the wheel of his No. 19 Modified at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.) for the $5,000-to-win United States Modified Touring Series.

Qualifying second-fastest among his qualifying group, Sorensen moved from third-to-second in his heat race and earned the seventh-starting position in the A-Main. Dustin made up four spots in the 40-lap main event to finish on the podium in third behind Rodney Sanders and Parker Hale.
