Dustin Sorensen races into Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury Speedway

With the 34th-annual Prairie Dirt Classic on the horizon, Dustin Sorensen rolled into Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway early for FloRacing Night in America's One for the Road event.

With 65 Super Late Models signed in on Wednesday, Sorensen finished sixth in his heat race before running a few spots short of making the $20,000-to-win main event in his B-Main.

Ready to improve upon Wednesday’s results, Sorensen started off Friday’s activities by qualifying 20th-quickest in his stacked group. Rolling off 10th in the fourth showdown feature, Dustin raced his way inside the Top-5 and grabbed an automatic transfer spot in fourth.

Starting 16th in the $50,000-to-win main event, Dustin was an early retiree and finished 22nd.
