Mother Nature wipes out Ultimate Showdown finale with World of Outlaws

Following the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series to North Carolina, Dustin Sorensen checked into Ultimate Motorsports & RV Park (Elkin, N.C.) on Friday night for preliminary night of the Ultimate Showdown.

With 40 Late Models in the pit area, Sorensen started the $4,000-to-win feature from 12th and lost two spots to finish 14th.

Unfortunately, Saturday's $35,000-to-win main event was rained out.

Sorensen currently sits 10th in the World of Outlaws point standings.
